Student-led oncology community at Oxford
A place for people to solve cancer together
About the society
Oxford Oncology Society is an interdisciplinary forum for people committed to better understanding cancer: students, clinicians, scientists, patients, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and advocates.
By bringing together today's leaders with the next generation, the society creates space for shared learning, honest discussion, and collaborative thinking about how we prevent, diagnose, treat, and ultimately solve cancer.
No assumed oncology background; sessions are designed to welcome first-years and finalists alike.
Cancer care spans molecular biology, surgery, imaging, policy, ethics, and survivorship.
Scientific ambition is balanced with compassion, communication, and lived experience.
Programme
Signature weekly discussion
A chaired conversation bringing together a scientist, a governor, a clinician, an industry leader, and a patient advocate to discuss what cancer is and how we cure it.
